Sure, but only if all monetary payouts (Clockworks, Krogmo, etc.) are reduced or all NPC based stores have their prices increased based on the increased rate.
Having more money in the system would mean raising prices so that only those able to play as long as possible will survive. Slowing the rate that money comes into the system would make gameplay feel slower and more people will quit due to impatience.
Congratulations, all that does is force you to play more often rather than casually a couple hours a day for the same end result.
