As You may have heard in GD, the updates for the danger missions come on the day of the mission, and so only a select few players manage to get into the game to test it, while others are stuck on the download screen.

Well here's an easy fix: Release the content on a day when no one can get to it.

For example, say that there's a new danger mission coming up soon. Knowing a lot of players wont get in in time for it, release it in the morning 2-3 days before it would cycle into the playable ones. That way, no one can get to it (so it fair to all players) and when it does come around, everyone will have the patch downloaded.

If this has already been made I'll graveyard it.

The source of the problem is the lack of global servers if you connect through the standard client.

With the Steam client you go through Steam servers, which are global.

Yeah, like steam players dont

Yeah, like steam players dont have problems like that.

Another solution:
Dont force change of prestige mission. In the day of update there is already other one, old danger mission. OOO should not force change to new prestige mission. With update they should just put it into queue so it will appear naturally. Untill that time players have time to update client and wait for new danger mission. Which is basically same as this in OP

Yet another solution:
Update game in one reboot, and then 'turn on' new danger mission after 24 hours. This way players will have 24 hours till new danger mission will appear but they will already have downloaded all files. We already had a update like that. Where the files were downloaded with one update, and after few days it just got turned on in game.
