Would it be a good idea to transfer UV's from 1 weapon to another?
If it was to over powered, what if you could only transfer a UV from 1 weapon to another weapon with the same star amount, for example: transfer a ASI MED from a Calibur to a Brandish.
I just want your thoughts :)

Still too over-powered
We need a very big downside. A prohibitive cost (of crowns, so energy prices can lower, too), and, like @Bella-Donna said, a restriction on the amount of UVs. Maybe make them overwrite other UVs.

You can craft 1* stuff for a mere 10ce wich is 5 times less than a 2* item.
You say you want to limit it by star level. But many 1* items do have at least one upgrade to transfer them on something with more potential. Not so big but still pretty abusable.

Nope. Too easily abusable. Some items are much cheaper to craft and obtain UVs on than others.
People would trawl AH to make a quick buck transferring damage bonus UVs from haze-type bombs to Sealed Swords.
This is not a good idea, as it stands.
Get 3 wolvers with fire max, stun max and shock max each then transfer the uvs to get one wolver with a triple max.
Simply, triple max armors would be more common and all 2-3 uv maxes would cost alot less. :c
