Hello everyone. Today, I will be suggesting a sloom danger mission. For those who don't know what a sloom is, it is a rare monster that inflicts sleep.
I have never seen one, but i think this new mission will give the sloom some spotlight.

Title: Snoozing City

A pack of slooms have sneaked into one of the gremlins facilities. They have put the gremlins to sleep and are causing havoc all over the facility! If one of them accidentally sets something off dangerously into the clockworks, who knows what might happen! You must go in there and put these slooms to rest! And also take down the gremlin facility.

Monsters:sloom, sloombargo, lichen, mecha knights, lumber, polyp, jelly, scuttlebot, gremlin

New monsters(somewhat)
Snoozing (put monster name here)-any type of monster(lumber, thwacker, etc.) that have been put to sleep by the slooms. They are awakened when you attack them, get close to them, or awakened by a loud noise(explosion, alarm). These monsters have move faster and more health since they have gotten a good nights rest!

Sleepy Polyp- Polyps that inflict sleep. As they die, they will leave a circle of sleepy ooze.

D1- This depth may vary depending on the tier, but lets just say its the first part.
As you venture around the facility, you will see that many of the machines have been turned on by the slooms. This means lots of obstacles. Also, there will be trails of sleepy ooze found on the ground that inflict sleep. In the final battle of this level, you will see many sleeping monsters already there. Then, when you get on the button, they will wake up!

D2-This depth is not that different. Although, there will be lots of ooze. The keys can have ooze on them and anyone unlucky will fall asleep. The only way to get the ooze off is to break it off with your weapon.

D2 boss- This boss will be a giant sloombargo! As you battle it, slooms and will attack you too. When you inflict enough damage, it will fall asleep. A mist of sleep will appear in the room. You will know this when because there is a hissing sound and the mist is blue. You have to avoid it and attack the snoozing sloombargo to wake it up. Once you have, just attack it once more. This boss CAN move around the room, leaving a trail of sleep behind.

Hope you like it. For this level, mainly pierce and sleep protection would be good. Please write some feedback!

Sleep is not balanced when inflicted on knights.

If you switch all references to sleep in this thread with curse it would be more feasible but still horrible.

slooms no longer exist in game.

it would be cool to have some sleep though. The more you sleep, the more you heal, so to make this ultra horrible, add poison!

Nothing stops an enemy from simply inducing perma sleep. With freeze, at least you have limited attacks and can use shield (or at the very least, let an ally save you).

It's not good to have it on big amounts.

You all make it sound like changes to a status effect can't happen. This is why OOO has developers to make changes to the game to make it BALANCED. But that seems to be a ways off.

I'd be glad to have sleep as a status, although I'd rather it be as a status, and not just one particular mission.

Add it to the arcade, and make other things that cause sleep, and then it'll be a go.
