i have used RSS bombs since the begining..
i am not very impressed with the new update..

But....if you can do this for me...i would be ok...
(basicly if No....then i will no longer spend real money in this game for getting fancy pointless accessories....
so if No then...you...cut some of the Real money you get in......and i`ll probably be playing less and less...)

All i would like... is one of the 4* RSS-Bomb`s i have...

Specificly the one with a Very High Vs Undead..

that i searched and got about a year ago...for fsc..Very specific UV...
..converted into a "Heavy Crystal Bomb" (4* Elemental Version)

^i think the above is a compeltely reasonable request....

the RSS 4* with V.H vs Undead is basicly....completely useless vs undead now (around 100dmg caused)...(peircing dmg),
...so basicly..i have lost my favourite bomb...completely pointless using it at the moment..

(i was actualy hoping..you would have done this automaticly..
when updating...
for example..... rss with V.H vs undead bonus.....convert it to... elemental version of new bomb....
(its an obvious move to me...)
wolver or fiend extra UV`s..convert to.. the ..peircing version of the bomb....
...etc..etc...you should get the idea...

and the "bonus" UV tickets....they ..just turned out..(as ever).. .completely naff and pointless...(compared to alot of my other UV`d equipment)..

so they wernt any decent "gift" to thank me... for playing with RSS`bombs (with my old tricky to get UV`s !!!) for since.....i started playing !...

anyway....please think about this developers...and Nick...

i Will be fine...........if you can convert the RSS bomb i have with V.H vs Undead into..an apropreate...useful variant...("Heavy Crystal Bomb" (4* Elemental Version) )

It's unforgivable

That this wasnt an option in the first place. Either they were incredibly obtuse or glaringly lazy. They had to be aware that a great great majority of players who used this bomb used it specifically for elem damage vs constructs and undead.

To not only make it rendered useless with pierce damage, but then to create a new bomb (starting out as a crystal bomb just like our infant RSS bombs did) that is the pure elem we want.........it's a real slap in the face and kick in the tabard.

and yup ive got a high fiend uv as well Juances ;D (i have a little collection of slightly different uv`d rss bombs)
and yup Pauling i realize this..just wanted to put it out here for all to see and think on...
really, it needs to be something that Nick (and his dev`s) address... ;)

just for complete random addon now..
..i also used my big angry bomb for a laff today !!(as was bored not having my lovely rss bomb)...and that...is kind of less fun too !
BA now has same radius as nitrome..but only does 300dmg..and ..is still hideously slow (mine has a maxed out ctr on it),
big angry does make me laff tho, always will... i do need to use it some times...just for comedy value :)
..but its another.. i prefered when it was more damage, smaller radius, now..its even closer to a lame version of nitronome :D
..i wonder now.. when polaris will be de-op`ed and whats next to be altered lol ;)

Well I am in a state of impractically high anger and confusion levels as to why whoever made this decision did so. My damage vs. undead very high RSS, my favorite and most powerful bomb, has been killed by the new update, and soon I am going to make a new thread about it, tomorrow. Tomorrow, they/he/she will regret what they/he/she did! They will know my pain!

...dramatics aside I'd just like to add that they not only taken all of the RSS's elemental damage away, but they then took the tiny remaining piercing damage and did who-knows-what with it. With damage vs. undead VH, I hit a max of around 81 on Kats in the first half of T3. To keep this in perspective, I formerly dealt 343+ damage per shard on slags in FSC. I am utterly outraged with this and will not stop now in my efforts to try to work out a better compromise.

19 1 variant tickets and a 3 variant ticket aren't going to bring my baby back. All the UVs in the world couldn't have possible compared with my damage vs. undead VH, and now that's been rendered useless. If a mod/dev/anyone reads this, they'll probably not comment, but good for them, because my argument, point, and story won't need replying in this thread, in addition to the fact that there's no counter argument for my rant, besides the blunt "deal with it". My VH Constructs RSS would also like to sign up for this conversion process. Thanks for taking away my bombing turret-killer. I'll even give back my 3-variant ticket (I only got one because I only use one shard bomb, not two hundred in rotation like some people apparently did).

Heck, I promise not to make any more conspiracy theories about how OOO converted the "Radiant Sun" bomb into only Piercing damage solely because they knew bombers would have to make elemental bombs to do what their old bombs used to do, which is kill zombies.

it is good to know were not alone on our thoughts about this bad switch over,
i appreciate the constructive feedback we have had here,
i hope that the admins/devs/nick please take heed of this thread at some point,

just as a quick random update...
I "bit the bullet" yesterday and now have a new crystal bomb with v.h uv vs undead again to build up to the new Elem` version of the shards,
only difference is...my orignal shard bomb with v.h vs undead cost me 10,000cr .....this new one.....cost Alot more !!

and still....to have my old one converted from pierce to elemental version would still be great !!
..it was not great paying lots for a bomb..that i already have..
it was a bit of a "lots of money for old hat" feeling.....
but now the rebuilding begins ;) !!!
anyway...i will get it up to 5* and check the damage the elemental one occurs in places like fsc soon hopefully (inbetween work times)

and keep on this situation people, i do think the develops need to realize the doozie that has occured on this switch over & how to keep their clients happy, and im pretty sure it could have been remedied pretty easily (having a bit of knowledge about programing, server-client-based setups etc...)
