I'm Pery, the knight who wrote the topic, "Mini Games" (If you remember that.)
Lockdown and Blast Network are so hard! I think there should be training so you can be better and better!
Every time I play Lockdown, I always lose. :(
In training, there would be robots instead of knights, and they would have almost the same attributes as knights.
Does anyone agree?
Lockdown and Blast Network Training!
No. It wont be as close as the real thing.
Bots hardly feel human on any game.
And here there are lots of combinations and tactics (weapon, armor, class, trinkets, teamwork, etc) to simulate.
You wont improve much killing dumb machines.
It's a good idea, although obviously this must be for free and with no actual Krogmo Coins as rewards.
I have seen people come into Lockdown with no idea what to do or how it works. Many of them spend most of the time in the locker room trying to figure out what class they should use and how exactly they're meant to win.
It would be good for people who want to experiment with how the game mechanics work, at the very least.
^ Then rather than a mode/full match, an open room similar to training hall, where everyone can join and leave at will.
In Blast Network I sometimes win, but I mostly lose.
Does anyone else have trouble with Blast Network that thinks training is a good idea?
No one is reading my topic!
Come on, this is a very good topic.
A lot of people die in Lockdown and Blast Network, and nobody cares?
@Pery
Lockdown match is already a training. They will become better and better.
Returning after my year long absence I was completely fazed by lockdown. Since there are missions now, the Devs really should have made a mission earlier on where we are all explained how to fight. It would have been a perfect opportunity to give the players a trial run on how to play the different classes. Players could fight each other or just deal with a few captured Mecha-Knights.
I'm sure all this have crossed their minds - they'll probably include it in a future update, surprising us.
It helps to play only on tier 1 or tier 2 though, to get the hang of things. It's important to keep a balanced loadout (star wise) and have everything fully heated up. Faster weapons like flourishes are likely to give you an edge as well. And health pendants if you can get them don't hurt either.
Just in case you haven't seen some of the guides yet, allow me to link some for you :P

http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Lockdown You could also Youtube for help, there are a few decent video guides.
If using your new shield is giving you trouble, you could also rearrange your keyboard configuration like me to something that you're more comfortable with. About Blast Network, have any of you played the original Bomberman? I have it, and although its a little different it is actually pretty good practice. There should be some converted-from-console-Pc-rom versions floating about the interwebs. You all could look it up if you like.
Finally and most importantly, never playing when you're lagging. For lag equals, death ._.
How about practice Lockdown and Blast Network matches?
It would cost 0 crowns and you would get 0-1 Krogmo Coin(s).
I am for a new section to the training hall that discusses BN and LD, in particular that lets players run in and hack at each other.
For one thing, it would give the players who run out of mist/crowns and start begging something to do.
For another thing, I could more easily run player damage tests.
For a third thing, it's a no pressure environment for players to practice sword tactics.
already suggested.
