I've been looking around and I've been wondering about rare monster item drops.
What if rare monsters dropped accessories or costumes that were related to them?
They would be rare drop items. For example:
Love Puppy - Love Aura, Love Puppy Disguise
Impostocube - Toupee, Dapper Combo, Pipe
Trojan - Trojan Disguise
Soul Jelly - etc.
Mewkat - etc.
While I'm on the subject, do Love Puppies still drop true love lockets? Or for that matter, do T3 Gremlin Thwackers still drop dark fang shields?
First, I think this belongs to the Suggestion forum.
I got points on both sides.
Pros:
- As long as the rare item drop isn't guaranteed (much like the love locket drop), rare monsters aren't seen that frequently to matter.
- Mewkat could mean that cat-eared helmet making a return.
Cons:
- Accessories, in the form of featured auction, is one of the few crown sinks that F2P community desperately needs.
- One may consider meeting the rare monsters is a reward enough on its own. Impostocube always drop a gold coin; love puppy can be of great help in some situations.

Secondly, Trojans are NOT rare at all. There are 12 possible trojans in one FSC run.

Yes trojans are not rare...But they can RARELY DROP TROJAN DISGUISE.
Trojan disguises are ugly, why would I want one?

To sell, maybe? Since there are people actually wearing the Hunter promo items, I think there should be a pretty lively market for trojan disguises, even if the dropped version also has limited duration.
@Night-Rove, He used an ambigous title then listed the rare monsters of SK. One can only assume he meant items that dropped from rare monsters. If he had meant monster drops that were rare, one would expect other common monsters to be listed.
