Since the jelly line of helms and mails have Stun resist, and the Mercurial shares the same characteristics as the jelly line, I believe that would be a great addition to the Mercurial set.
Mercurial Helm and Mail should have Stun resistence

Quicksilvers are lichens. Jellies are...jellies. They both belong to slime family, have some similarities but arent identical.
On a gameplay note, shock and movement bonus vs sleep makes it too OP in comparison.

Royal Jelly Set is already useless.
Freeze High on one + Freeze Max on the other = immune to all LD-relevant bombs.
Not that I think LD should be used to balance the game, mind. It should be secondary. But even from a PvE perspective, I'd rather have Merc buffed in some other way (e.g. more MS increase, as suggested many times) rather than just having yet another jelly piece with Stun.
