Mostly for the Suggestions forum.

Splitting the discussed topics into sub-categories:
-Game: General changes to the game (e.g. Stat-changes, content.etc)
-Weapons/Armour: Suggestions of new gear.
-Costumes: Suggestions of new costumes.
-Monsters: Suggestions of new Monsters
-Other: Whatever the shoe doesn't fit.

Just so there'll hopefully be less clutter.

Cooperation

In order for it to work, it would require a lot of player cooperation. Unfortunately, people have a tendency to misplace their posts as it is, so adding more sub forums will just multiply the problem and add to the work the mods have to do.

It's a cool idea, though. I like more organization, personally.

We need to go deeper

I would go further with even more divisions:

- Armor, shields, & trinkets
- Weapons
- Costumes & accessories
- Enemies, traps, bosses, etc.
- Minigames
- Other

Unlisted/Other

This is "oh my liquids divide everything as far apart as possible" sectioning.

I would love it if this happened

would make it so much easier to search for certain topics of suggestions or whatever else. +9001 from me.

Though I do agree with Thinslayer in that it would require a lot of cooperation. Nonetheless I think it's worth it.
