how come i never get prestige for the prestige missions, i am rank 5-2 not new just have a question

- You must join a prestige
- You must join a prestige mission in the lobby, not in the actual levels, to be able to complete it.
- You must take the final elevator back to Haven to complete it.
- There are multiple versions of a prestige mission, assigned according to your rank. You can only gain prestige from your own version.
Once you complete your version of prestige mission, you will see the mission getting a tick mark, and you can no longer start the mission yourself (though you can join one).
If no tick mark/you can still start it, that means you have broke one of the above rules.

prestige is just the number,
prestige is just the number, you can see it at the top of missions page or in your character window
the blue bar that fills up, is your rank experience. nothing to do with prestige
you get prestige for both rank missions and prestige missions.
I think you have to complete all the missions to get prestige from those missions. There is a symbol next to your name which states how much prestige you have. So the prestige missions help add more prestige to that. You need at least 5k prestige for your first symbol, and it'll all add up
