Ok, 2 suggestions here, that I'm sure have been spouted out and then either shot down or ignored...
Suggestion #1: Unbinding costume system of some fashion
I'll be honest with this one, I don't really care how it is implemented. But here are a few ways to get your mind thinking about how to balance it, etc, etc.
- Options:
- 1. Make the unbind cost a decent amount (likely 100kcr+ in total) and allow the costume to be unbound.
- 2. Make the unbind cost 50kcr, with a chance of said unbind failing (50/50?)... under condition of failure, compensation be paid in the form of 90% the unbind cost.
- Side option: Allow player to add cr to unbind cost, which won't be refunded, in order to aid chances for success (20kcr/10%)
- 3. Make the unbind cost a combo of ce/cr you deem fit and add a RNG element to it (more sarcastic than anything... but you get the idea)
My reason for requesting this is that while yes, the rich players will likely just get richer, this also opens up some economic flow and provides newer players the opportunity to gain some of the awesome costumes you guys have already created and made rare. This also is intended to add a crownsink that can and likely will be used more than once/ until someone gets to a certain point due to the fashion conscious of your playerbase. I feel this could have some income potential (for OOO to clarify standings here) depending on where you set the price for the unbind.
Suggestion #2: Bombhead drops revert to old system of coming NOT BOUND
Some of your PvP playerbase is absolutely infuriated simply at this, they can run as many runs of LD or BN as they want. But if someone/ a group wins out before them, EVEN IF THE OTHER PEOPLE ALREADY HAVE SAID BOMBHEAD, then the person who actually managed to make the bombhead appear has to go back and wait another month or so before their next shot. This is beyond stupid for us, I've talked with some BN veterans who claim to have over 100 non-buyable bombheads... while yes, said people need to get on with their lives, they have 100 non-buyable bombheads just sitting there gathering dust, when I'm sitting here with only a buyable. How is this fair? This is what originally brought up suggestion #1, however, it's come to my attention that bombheads are not the only thing that said system would be used for.
Basically, if you bring it back to where the people can sell their bombheads, especially ones that they have no use for, that will A: Boost the PvP experience, B: Help out the economy some since I know plenty of people love the look of certain bombheads, and C: Help a ton of people enjoy them more.
Seriously, if someone has some better stats and is willing to put them here, go ahead... right now I'm far too tired to get into it.
