A simple thing to do really, just display a certain item's line in their description, as I find it rather annoying having to bring up that slow-as-!@#$ steam browser when i'm trying to upgrade an item. And also maybe visually emphasizing somehow where on the line the specific item you are looking at is.
Of course this might clutter the screen, so maybe just displaying the name of the next item in the line would be sufficient.
Its so hard to check wiki to see where upgrade of item leads?

It's just for convenience, and it's not like it's THAT hard to add some text to an item's description......

I find hitting alt+tab annoying, and sometimes i can't open SK back up after looking something up (I have to restart it).
And you could just add the names of the 1-3 items the selected item can upgrade to.
It would just be so much simpler if I could just hover over an item and see it's upgrades' names instantly, rather than having to go on the wiki, searching for the item, etc.
Hmm, I suppose the worse case scenario is something like the brandish that upgrades into four different items.
If not included in the description window, could it be an option when selecting the item from the player's inventory to show possible upgrades? Yeah, wiki exists and all that but if the devs ever had the time I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea.
Seerusly? You shouldn't have to pull up wiki, just to look up an upgrade, so often that you need it added to the game.
If you have a weapon and dont know the upgarde, you're doing things wrong. You made a weapon without knwoing what you're gonna get in the end.
You should go backwards, aim for a 5* you like, then backtrack its' previous versions. And no need for any special tricks on that, recipes already show previous lines as a prerequisite.

That's exactly what I do, it's just that I don't memorize the exact names of the items next in the line. I think long and hard (giggity) about what items I use, and therefore have to make frequent trips to the wiki, hence my want of this feature.

As i said above, I make frequent trips to the wiki so that I can plan things out, as well as to be ABSOLUTELY SURE that the item I'm about to make is one that I will want and use.
