Not quite. You can just mail the alt free stuff, no need to bind. The trick is to drag along the alt for crafting.

Make a guild -> Get to haven -> Give ectos away -> Get donated items -> Ask friends to craft 3* -> Go on vana runs with someone called livons O.o -> Make moneys -> Be awesome in rescue camp :D
