I tried reinstalling SK but still have problem.
Also I think it started today too + I am playing SK via the steam client.
Joining a friend in haven works sometimes.
Update: Testing it further - on the SK client on my alts account, same problem.

After some experimentation, I have found that I am able to join a party via invitation. At least my mist won't go to waste. I'll try to find out as much as possible for those who have similar problems or are looking to help. :)

Getting exactly the same
Getting exactly the same here, was working fine 14rs ago, now whenever trying to exit ready room, black screen, kicked out of game and can't log in for "At Least" 5mis afterwards.

Much to my surprise, changing
Much to my surprise, changing my region to USA actually worked. Please update me on if it works for you guys.
EDIT: Now also works for Europe. Not sure if what I did actually helped to fix the problem or if it was a coincidence and has been fixed by itself/devs.

Just to update, the issue is
Just to update, the issue is gone. Appears to be a sub-sea cable break yesterday that affected the routing between the UK and the Netherlands. I assume or recall that the EU servers are in Europe and as a consequence the routing was all messed up for quite a few hours.

It doesn't take that long to load. Using linux instead of windows makes a big difference.
I am experiencing a similar issue. It has only just started today. Spiral Knights would take me to the title screen after finishing a mission. Fortunately, all rewards were received. I wouldn't be able to log back in for several minutes and my friends on Steam said they could still see me as online (in Spiral Knights and not the steam interface).
After restarting my computer, I can't even leave the ready room. This means I can't join a mission or go to haven. The chat log from my last session was displayed, like you have shown.
I am unsure of what could be causing this bug but I thought it would help for me to elaborate further on the issue. Just in case they are needed, here are some system specs that could be of relevance:
