Offer a sort by gate, sort by tier function or *show* options.

So if im after partys in the jelly king run i can tick Gate A(jk) / Tier 2 and it only shows them.

Also the auto popup is

Also the auto popup is annoying, better it has some sort of icon on the party finder to say the list has changed than actually pop it up over everything while it's on.

Must admit it's a shame that the party finder doesn't show me any RJP or IMF parties unless they're in the Clockworks. Sometimes I like taking things a bit easier and going after one of those ones, so seeing if there are open parties easily for them would be nice.

So, +1 I guess.

How about this?

Player Star Searches. Checks who even has the same star ranking you're equiped with.

Player Tier Searches. Checks which party has the same clearance as you.

Level Tier Searches. Checks a randomized set of parties in the set tier.

sounds

@Atrumvindex: it sounds pretty reasonable. but i realy wish they could make parties that have passed the party button in some levels to be unable to get into. i hate coming to a party and there already next to the elevator. i just wasted 10 energy for nothing, why makes this possible for players to waste their energy.

+1 to this, and also...

While lower ranks cannot see higher rank parties/missions, higher ranks should be able to see parties of lower ranks, even going as far back as the very first Clockwork mission after Crossing the Chasm. Right now, Vanguard players can only see as far back as Terminal Meltdown (or maybe a little bit further back, but this is the furthest back I've seen on my party finder). Would be nice to see available JK/RT parties as a Vanguard so it saves time having to make a new one and waiting.

If people are worried that this will clutter up the party finder, then that's where OP's sorting function comes in.

Lol, I'm a vanguard, and all I see are T1 parties. When I had an epass (gift from MysteryZX), I would join them, and explain that they were "near [my] current Rank" and act like it was legit.

I'm referring to missions

I'm referring to missions specifically, but yeah, for Clockwork parties most available parties I see are T1. That's understandable though, since new players tend to not lock their parties, experienced players tend to lock their parties and do friends/guild-only runs, and the Arcade is already pretty dead due to missions.

even

@Atrumvindex : even if i contact them, most of them do not read the chat bar or are newbies that do not know how to respond. so why not just lock parties that hav epassed the party button. i also mean levels like deconstruction. as lons as they've passed the party buttton, that party should be locked untill it has moved to the next level.
