Make pots, rockets and brambles scale by tier

Currently, pots, rockets and brambles don't scale in damage by tier. Hence, while in t1 they are mildly dangerous, they are pretty negligible in t2 and t3. I'd like it if OOO made these scale by tier, since brambles are a false alarm and using the environment adds depth to gameplay. Though pots aren't really expected to be used in combat ('cept for fire ones), rockets are supposed to, and if added to t3 levels they would be pointless, and already are kind of a joke in t3 LD, where a giant explosion doesn't hurt anyone.

I'm not too sure of how damage should work for the brambles, but I think that using the blaster line to model pot damage would fit well, seeing as it's already based off what is essentially a blaster (proto gun). And then the rockets' damage could be directly scaled from that, meaning that:

35=least damage for a blaster in stratum 3
72=least damage for a master blaster in stratum 5

7/15=.4666
35/.4666=75

so 75 is the base damage for t2 rockets, and 35 is for pots

72/.4666= 154.3

so 154 is the base damage for t3 rockets, and 72 is for pots.

The other option is to precisely mirror blaster damage by depth, divided by the same .4666 for rockets. However, the 3* and 5* equivalents would have to be used to see much difference across a tier, meaning that you'd have to use an imaginary 1* blaster's damage to decide for t1.

Pots do scale with tier.

Pots do scale with tier. Place your cursor over them to see their descriptions.

Traps scale in damage as well.

No, he means the respawnables pots(or vases if you want) not vials. And brambles dont scale either they do like half a pip of damage even on T3.

We also need the hearts and

We also need the hearts and guardian regeneration must be scaled in LD. Its very annoying to having 1 heart from a dead people or healing half pips by guardian in t3 or t2 ld. It needs to be always 2-hearts drop and guard regeneration give 1 health in t2 ld, and always 3-heart drop and guard regeneration is 1,5 health in t3 ld.(Except for bushes, they would always drop 1-heart)

@ purrifier
The changes to guardian and heart drops are part of the reason I like to play multiple tiers; it offers variety. But you're right, if we want the tiers to be the same, this should happen.
@ Canine
As for changing water damage, that sounds fine. The same would end up applying to light balls in candlestick keep. If there are other non-scaling sources of damage, feel free to point them out.

Well, there are two kinds of rockets. The one mentioned here exists in the new new user experience, and a few other clockworks-related places. It also shows up on some LD maps, like stadium. It is a little payload that you pick up and throw, and it does 15 damage. The other type is found in the IMF and some BN maps, but that's not the one we're talking about here.

Good idea. Though it shouldn't scale too much. Then it would become a viable weapon and people would be able to fight with it, even if their weapons are under level.

Well, the point of the scaling is mostly that rockets become viable. Pots aren't even viable weapons in t1, so if they scale properly, they won't be commonly used as a weapon. However, the rockets are supposed to be used as a weapon in certain LD maps, similarly to snow on frostbite or fire pots in some PvE locations and on ramparts. Right now, they can't be used as a weapon, and I feel that it adds depth and more concepts to gameplay if it's possible to use your enviroment.

They should definitely scale. Pots that set me on fire deal barely any damage, and I wear Chaos. If someone is wearing a Chaos set, they should fear fire pots.
