No too certain if there's already an idea like this (yes, many people say that), but I'll go ahead and share this suggestion.

These crowns grant you more crowns then the previous ones.

Gold-Platinum = 75 crowns

Platinum = 100 crowns

Much like the Gold crowns, these are VERY rare. and are usually obtained by either defeating tough enemies or opening red treasure boxes. But they have only a 14.28% (1 out of 7) chance being found by doing the tasks that were mentioned. As a Spiral Knight advance deeper into the Clockworks, they gradually become more common. In Tier 2, they have a 28.57% chance of being found. Then it becomes 42.85% in Tier 3.

Their design would be that they're larger than a Gold crown, obviously. The Gold-Platinum crown's colors would be yellow coloring surrounding the white (the white coloring would be whiter than the Silver crown's color, and has a sparkling effect), while the Platinum crown's color is completely shining white.
