I have been getting trouble on getting heat for my 4 star weapons. Any ideas on how to level them up fast because it seems my polaris is leveling up faster.

heat booster
At the beginning of levels play terribly and die a lot to keep the party's health low.
At the end of levels shield bump lumbers into your party members then revive them after.
Probably only worth it to do on post-terminal levels. Don't want to get booted before the heat gets good!

Like Sypsy said you can get heat from depths were people can kill themselves (BUT MAKE SURE THERE IS A HEALING PAD)

- Stay the hell away from Eeks.
- Don't die.
- Run lots of FSC or Arena-rich even stratas.
- Make requests from people for their heat; most people will be willing to help out if their weapons are complete.
- Alternatively, offer to carry nubs through FSC, then take their heat when they end up dying.
@Batabii: It isn't stupid. What's stupid is letting a considerable amount of heat go to waste, when infinite healing facilities are readily available and you have no use for it. I've been paid for giving someone my heat before, in fact.

I don't really believe he intentionally murders innocent, random players to collect their heat... maybe just guild members...
You can easily get a bad rep if you went around murdering your fellow knights even if it was an accident.

If you want individual items
If you want individual items to level faster, level only one piece of gear at a time, at least until it hits level 5. This will allow you to gain level 5 health and CTR bonuses sooner; possibly beneficial if you're having trouble leveling slow-charging bombs.
Heat amplifiers probably aren't worth buying separately; they're crazily expensive for their short effective duration. But if you already have one (say, from a starter pack), then you might as well gather all the gear you want to level, set aside a few days, then activate the amplifier and farm FSC runs for high heat rewards. As mentioned above, your gains would then stack on top of the double or triple heat rewards you could get by farming partymates for heat whenever you see a healing pad (and spikes!) near the elevator.**
** Caveat: I'm not sure whether the heat amplifier acts as you collect heat, or at the elevator. It would certainly increase your gains from monsters, and FSC gives a lot of heat to start. But I don't know if the bonus would apply to heat gathered from party members.

Heat amplifiers double the heat you get at the elevator. (Oddly, not during the heating animation, you can tell by looking at your weapon after and noticing it's higher than what the animation ended at.)
So anything you farm from teammates is also doubled.

Provided that you have only one weapon to heat:
A single jelly king run will provide you enough heat to level a 3* weapon to level 5
A single FSC run will provide you enough heat to level a 4* weapon to level 10, given that you get 3 of your friends to give heat.

heat boosters are a waste of CE. Don't be impatient.
Do you have an alt you can run at the same time?
Otherwise:
Have people give you heat in your parties. Ideally people who are not heating anything.
They can kill themselves at the end of Arenas on the spikes of the third room while you heal yourself on the heart pads.
They can also kill themselves in depth 26 & 27 of FSC/KoA and give you heat.
Or they can kill themselves any which way in another depth using FoV/GF.
