I dont know if theres any hammers in this game but it would greatelly use one! They should make like a new sub-group of weapons,the hammer.

this is a hammer i created.WORK IN PROGRESS.The shape should be like that and the energy symbol there,but the textures of the hammer need a lot of work to look like from spiral knights (antique looking spiral details and so on) .And i think im gonna work on it a little bit more and ill add some new cool weapons.Hope u like it.

And its name is energy hammer.It has a lot of damage,is slow like hatchet and has area damage.And i mean when it hits the ground or player/monster it creates a small area damage that harms all the nearby monsters and players.And it has a good chance of causing weak shock.Hope it aint too good....cause i could lower its configurations a bit.

On a more serious note, that thing looks more like a mace or mallet than anything else, and would probably be treated as a sword-like weapon rather than generating an entirely new class of weapons. You only came up with one unique weapon; that isn't enough to make a whole new family. (Hell, hatchets, wrenches and massive sodding rocket hammers got placed as 'swords'.)
Is the area damage part the charge? What does the standard attack look like? How many swings does it have?
Also, could you give us some flavour text and damage numbers to work with too?
