Hi Guys,

I really like BTS for FSC, as long I'm not doing Vana. Because Vana destroys the shild with a single stroke of if club.
I know it easy to doge this attack, but anyway sometimes I just don't see that my fat little friend is aiming at me.
So I wanted to know if there would be an UV with whitch the shield wouldn't break.

Thanks for your answers.

Mac C.

You'd probably need something like Fire Max and stun Max

Processing Thoughts of You Always

Fire/Stun/Normal Max
Please note that this will cost a heckuvalot to get on a BTS.

UV: Don't Get Maced Max Works

UV: Don't Get Maced Max

Works perfectly :-D

Honestly, just pop a remedy capsule right after getting your shield broken. Also, if you are using the Shiv technique the blitzer should only attack vana from straight behind and don't stand where the main blitzer is if you are slagging (unless you want to get maced).

Pretty simple. If you are having problems, then bring a Owlite or Crest of Almire shield until you are good enough at vana.

Normal High becomes a gamble, sometimes it barely resists, sometimes you're left stunned.

The Vana fight is far easier

The Vana fight is far easier using a piercing gun than with a sword. There, the sword bonus on the BTS is of limited use, and as a result, tailoring your UVs to match vana's attacks is missing the point.

So, any UVs on a BTS would best be focused on the rest of FSC: shadow and fire resistance would be very useful. In particular, you'll want fire resistance for the shield to withstand anything more than momentary contact with lava patches.

UVs are a crapshoot. Unless

UVs are a crapshoot. Unless you can reliably dodge, go CoA or Volcanic Plate Shield (vana does Normal with his club)

UVs...

...they are just too expensive if you are aiming for specific ones, and even more costly if you want more than one of those. I'd recomend you either to get another shield or evade Vana's club (Not that hard, if you do you can do Vana with proto shield)

Thx

Ok thank you all for your kind replys.
This was more a technical question if it would be possible.
I think I will stick to my good old CoA.
