The Need for Crowns

In around 4pm, I was with my two friends, Egorapture and Tetreks, in the Training Hall. Anyway, Ego wanted to buy himself the Kilowatt Pulsar at the Auction but there's two problems:
- At the Auction, the cheapest sale for the Kilowatt Pulsar so far is 52,000 crowns;
- and Ego doesn't have enough Crowns to buy it.
So, with Tetreks, we agreed to start earning Crowns in every possible ways to earn them: Going through missions, selling unwanted items and vise versa. But here's the question:
- How can I earn a lot of crowns in the shortest time possible?
I'd like you to suggest your ideas in this topic. The best idea will then be used and this topic will be locked, if the best solution is found.

First of all, this goes in the new recruits section.

I'm not sure why you would want to buy a kilowatt pulsar. I think it would be cheaper and easier to run Roarmulus, get a pulsar, and then craft it into a kilowatt.

If you really want to strait up buy it, I would say running royal jelly or vanaduke are the easiest and quickest ways to earn cr.

Not quite the answer you were looking for

but it's really important: don't throw cr away needlessly. Buying a KPulsar is a waste of money. Get a Pulsar by farming RT, then upgrade it yourself.

Edit: D'oh, slow post. Ninja-ed way in advance.

Okay, I understand.

So, I should get myself the Pulsar then upgrade it to Kilowatt Pulsar, right?

Yup.

And try to get the recipe from the Clockworks (do T2 runs and check Basil's stock at the Terminal). It's expensive on the AH.

That would be the cheaper method, yes.
A Pulsar is a boss reward, and comes bound automatically. Therefore, not only are you paying the price for the upgraded weapon, but at least another 200 CE on top of that for unbinding, as well as whatever profit the crafter makes.

My advice would be to learn how to do IMF runs. They give a decent amount of crowns (about equal with RJP since the recent update), as well as the tokens for the weapon.

Hmm... I agree with you.

But where do you think I can get the recipe for the Kilowatt Pulsar from?

It's randomly in Basil's

It's randomly in Basil's inventory on depth 13 of the clockworks.

If you do IMF runs, you will

If you do IMF runs, you will get lots of crowns + the pulsar you wanted. Of course, I wanted a kilowatt pulsar, and my wish came true. It costs 15 bark modules to buy the pulsar from the token trader. Everybody covered it nicely here
