I was really excited about the patch today, but they only "fixed" snipe herding. Really, I love scaring the carp outta those poor snipes. But even scarin' snipes aint enough when there isnt content. OOO keeps us uninformed and in the dark all the time, which is nice if you want a surprise, but the wait starts to get really boring and downright annoying. The preview server is open, and we know that next Thursday for sure we have another Danger Mission. Wonderful, but I have given up on prestige a while ago. I guess that anyone who doesn't like Danger Missions and wants real content, we will be disappoint.

Where is the other content that you devs sorta kinda promised us while keeping the community in the dark? The muchly awaited guild hall upgrades and the other "Super duper new epic playsystem" thingy which people THINK has dual wielding. Sadly, we really have no idea what is going on, thanks to the policy of "Reply to the community, make a mysterious statement that reassures and reveals nothing." I love all the updates, but could you PLEASE give us any idea of what is happening? The mystery is starting to get tedious.

I don't have *very* strong opinions on this, but however you dress it up, the bottom line is that we Asian players have to choose between all the progress we've made on the main server and actually having decent ping on the Asia server. It's a crappy position to be in, relative to US and EU players.

All the crying about "lack of content" makes me warm and fuzzy on the inside, if only because I never knew people could get so anal about a game taking their time to iron out the details. I like this update.

Nerfs the toothpick just enough to put it in line with the Brandishes.

Won't make Bombers useful in LD again, but hey, at least it's something.

The toothpick already is faster than the Brandish line, it doesn't need range on them too. Range is the domain of heavy swords (and, of course, guns), puny toothpicks keep out!

creating a new better server that doesn't keep your current character is worse than not ever creating said server. I'm in the US and play on the US server, but i'm not so obtuse to realize what a worthless and terrible position that puts those players in. But yet, once again, i'm unsurprised and unimpressed by the incredible myopia of the rank and file SK player and forum goer. This worthless place is filled to the gills with "if it doesn't affect me it doesn't matter at all" mentality.

Seriously, you people disgust me. And for you asian players forced into the position of choosing between losing your character and playing on a better server, or continuing in suboptimal conditions with the characters you use and love, i truly feel sorry for you. OOO should not put you into such a position. Or should let you migrate your characters.

Its blatantly unrealistic and unfair to ask anyone to leave their characters behind. The reason why so many of us continue to play despite our disenchantment with OOO is because of our emotional attachments to our cute little sprites. As we should, or why else would we spend 100s of hours or 100s of days investing ourselves in them?

That... Sums up pretty much everything. I know all these pains, because I am currently residing in the Philippines and I am f2p. I would never restart over after spending a year playing on my character. NEVER. We never know about any updates about to come out thanks to no one telling anyone what is going on. CE prices are rising so high that it annoys even me, the mission system screws the game up royally. We have updates very rarely, so really the game has really become dress up with swords. Every update that comes out lags the servers even more. Unless something is done soon, the game will go downhill to the point that even I will not be able to give a durn about my cute little venomous sprite. And why should I? I can barely walk through haven without an epic lag spike :/

Ahem.. After that ungentlemanly vent, I must remind you, Pawpaw, that as I said, I am F2P. It took me a YEAR, a YEAR, to get to where I am. I have a Max Asi GF, Asi High FF, millions of crowns, thousands of CE, multiple rare accessories, etc, etc. Paw, you have to start all over again to get into the servers, which is a load of *ahemahemahem*. I have weathered thousands of crappy updates, ****y CE prices, updates where it is required to pay to actually get anything... Like Rommil said before, you are one of those forum goes who has the "not my problem if it doesn't effect me" mentality. Sad. This game is starting to have so many uncaring *AHEMAHEMAHEMM*s.

I'd empathise with you if only I haven't been through a similar but a bit different ordeal over and over in the past (region block -> new servers by the same company -> progress lost) for far too long to empathise with this case of some 3rd party buying a license to run the game in. It's a business before everything.

@Enclavean Great gear. It is a shame that Three Rings sells a license to another company to run an asian server instead of doing it themselves. That is a lot of work being lost. Assuming you did it all without throwing money at Three Rings which I believe you did it with hard work.

This game has the ability to be a great game. Though I've started to notice a tread. Shadow Lairs weren't that bad but some of the bugs that still plague them (Rabid Snarby Boss and the bell as an example) are still unfixed even after a year. OCH "DLC" getting drop nerfed and people being forced to spend $$ to buy it instead of CE. Not really that bad though.. but now it seems to follow this pattern. Lame update - energy promo - lame update - energy promo - maybe decent update - energy promo. Still waiting for the stun bug fix from a year ago. Three Rings never fixed the zombie grab bug but instead they covered it up by having the zombie instantly hurt you (twice even) when it jumps at you, but the bug can still be reproduced if the zombie misses just right. The game getting more and more laggy which some of the updates they do. Started playing the game back in June of last year and it was less laggy. I have 1 friend left that hasn't completely quit this game and I've reached my limits. Then you got the RSS being replaced with a new-RSS that didn't even work right and then having gimped damage even at 5 star.

In my years of playing games I have never had to feel what the asian community does right now.. if they want their server they have to quit Three Rings Spiral Knights and leave EVERYTHING they have worked on behind to join GameCyber's server of Spiral Knights. Or they can continue to have their accounts but get ridiculous lag that makes the game nearly unplayable for them. That has to be really frustrating for those players. The EU and US have their own server but instead of making a third server for their players they sell a different company a license to run the server and split their already lacking game community even more.

I enjoyed this game, but I will no longer support it with my money. Not even $6 for an elevator pass. I will continue to just do my daily prestige then go troll in lockdown as I have been doing for the past 2 weeks. While I wait for my tax return in 4-5 months so I can buy a gaming rig PC and move on.
