This is my Idea.

Have a mountain which you can go to through haven bazaar in Winter this mountain is operated by ember light gremlins and has a ski lift!
you can buy a snowboard or skis off the gremlins.
when you are going down you go down with other players you can ask if they'd like to fight.
these fights would consist of throwing snowballs trying to knock each other over.

skiing or boarding is just like walking but faster and downwards. you can press 1 2 3 4 to do tricks.

at the bottom they have snow ball generators in a place just of one way in the mountain. you go through a force filed to a huge square with snow ball generators like in lockdown.
you pick these you cant use weapons but just throwing snowballs.

i know this isn't exactly what spiral knights is about but it would be very nice to have fun with other players this way. ^-^ please comment on what would be nice!

Eh...

Cradle is a world being built by the gremlins, and I'm not sure if weather can occur in Haven. I suggested an idea where we can create night time and day time in Haven

I am not for or against this idea, but I would like to point out that from a story perspective, weather is possible. In the winter, Haven gets covered in snow for most of December and January.

We had snow in christmas, and freeze levels have fallig snow.

But a mini-game only playable in winter? An easy excuse is to use the south/north pole of the planet.

I would not rather have it

Why?

1) It causes even more lag because of snow
2) Gremlins built the world, and weather has not come yet (Ok, I wasn't in the beta, so please correct me politely if I'm wrong)
3) Unless you make winter last for a few days, that would be fun

just +1 to Snow Ball fights in Haven. you "attack" the Snow Piles, Your little cute avatar does a picking up emote, Your little cute avatar has a snowball (Like the Frostbite but only one snowball) and you can hit (no falling) your little cute avatar's friends. Just friends can get hit. I don't like strangers trolling me in front of AH. Even though they already do that. ._.
so +1 JUST for Snowball fights.

p.s. technically the North/South poles wouldn't be the coldest areas. think of Uranus. Its tilted rotation does some weird stuff. So the "top" side is always hitting the sun. This could be the case for Cradle. Haven is probably situated on the side that is always in the sunlight. So, that is probably the reason Haven does not have day/night cycles. Also Rescue Camp does have night time so that could be near the equator where its tilt angle could get it some daylight AND some night time.
