Logging in from steam account, always gives me this message. Been happening since 9/4/12 and thought it would fix itself. However its 9/8 and I still get this error every time I log on. Any help in this situation would be appreciated. Sounds like its an internet problem to me, but I have internet all the time so I don't see how this could be happening.

Try right clicking on SK from the list and hitting properties.

From there, try to find the button that says "Verify local game cache." or something like that. It should be in the 3rd tab from the left, if I remember right. I don't have my Steam with me, so I can't confirm. I had a problem with Portal 2 recently, and doing that fixed it. If it doesn't help, uninstall SK and reinstall it. If you still have some issues, I might be able to think up some other things to try. Hope it helps though!
