Probably suggested before~

Some other games have this also but I feel people would enjoy having an in-game MP3 player for their own music while they play SK. Simply, it would be like having a file in the SK directory labeled something like "MP3_Player" and this would be the folder people place their own .mp3 music into. Then when launching the game the game would read that folder and allow the music inside of it to be played with the in-game MP3 player. An addition to the game that players would enjoy without having to use excess computer resources to open their internet browser or music program to play their own music outside of SK.

I already play my own music, I just use iTunes. The only case where I feel this would help is those who are in fullscreen and don't want to deal with the delay period when you alt-tab in fullscreen.

Make a playlist on YouTube. Put only what you'll listen to in it, and if it's not there, upload your music. Open it. Turn autoplay on. Minimize your Internet. Voila.

^ Typical replies. No, I can not run youtube and SK at the same time and play LD because it butchers my framerate immensely. This is to make the game better for those that want to not waste their computers resources with another program open just to play muisic.

There must be a low-resources cheap player out there. You will save some resources by having it all into the client, but the client itself will grow instead.

Only other option for me would to get someone to replace all the SK music files with my own so I can have specific music per level. Or w/e I get a program that can write the same music files as SK.

And no I'm not cheap. I can't help it I can play SK on a pentium with 2 gigs of ram which Vista eats 1 gig alone. Unless you want to give me $1200 for a new computer?

'Typical' does not mean

'Typical' does not mean 'incorrect'. Also mind that you didn't really elaborate on how big the problem was for you; I assumed you had enough computer strength to have the Net open at the same time as SK... without massive frame rate loss.

As Juances said, if you take two from three and put it into another three, you have a one and a five, not a one and a three... While modding is against the rules IIRC, it's probably your most beneficial option, yes. Also IIRC, they don't like modding because it misrepresents the game, so as long as you don't have modded textures in a screenshot or a video with the music and sfx modded, I don't think they'll mind. Don't trust me completely though.

Oh, by the way. Audacity.

Uh, watching music on youtube is probably not the best way to go

If it's free/not available anywhere else, record it into a MP3 and play it on a simple audio player, iTunes takes up just 50 megs for me, and there are probably lighter ones out there. If it costs money, you shouldn't be repeatedly watching it on youtube anyway.

Oh, and I only paid 400$ for an i3 6 gigs. A year ago. No I'm not giving you 300$.
