Hellow its your unfamous bomber of the suggestion threads, today im not talking abtou bombs, but sheilds

First off, NO we are not make sheild a weapon, there will be a 'module-thingy' you have to equip (as a weapon) you must be using the weapon (like say if it were one slot 2 u must be on slot 2 to activate a 'buff(see below)' for your sheilds) or maybe when you equip it it will be pasive-ish (idk.... but being passive Might be OP IMO)

1st of there would be Damage moudle where when activated... (via holding sheild up) when ever an eneimy attacks you they take an amount of damage (which would show on the module like a sword shows its damage in the Hud) and maybe some would give out status but when the sheild broke you can do damage....

2nd, there would be these sheild module when activate it will give Some boost like say Msi more sheild health or faster sheild regen (so you would have to hold up your broken sheild to regen faster wierdly enough)

3rd would be party-use-full buffs like say sheild can protect allies who seem to be in them and/or large sheild area (largest would be like pvp guardian sheild) and remove status from allies in sheild after 3-5 seconds so it won't be OP?

and if your thinking about what would ASI, ctr or damage bonus do fro the sheild, well it would do the following (not very sure if it is UP or OP) :-

1.)ASI, would increase sheild regen
2.)Damage bonus would well make the 1st 'type' of sheild modules deal more damage
3.)CTR would make the 3rd 'type's' buffs 5-7% more efficeint per stage (low-1, max-6 etc.)

i am ready to recive hate from some poeple who name should not be spoken of (so i don't humiliate them) or love if they like my thread

Anyways, messing with the concept, what would happen if you mix those modules in Lockdown?

The weapon affects the shield. Are you aware that equipment does not directly affect other equipment? If you have a Shadowsun set it does not tell your Nightblade to do more damage just because shadow. Using a DAvenger or Blitz does not tell your other weapons to have horrible damage because of its presence. Eating a sandwich only makes it tastier.

I know you know what happened in other threads where they wanted shields that damage. Only status affliction, no direct damage, and every time something is tagged with a status the shield takes damage as if it was hit. This is to prevent shield bump spamming. If you have no idea what that is I can show you in the training/derping hall for a hours of infinite shield bumping in a tight area to give you an idea of what would happen if bumping did damage and was allowed to work infinitely.

Throw out of the other nonsense. Shield recovery UV. Already been addressed, barely made a difference when checked for rates, but it was something.

Items do not have a direct affect with other items you are wearing at the same time in terms of equipment in this way. Some equipment gives bonuses or penalties, but not complete changes in functionality. You may as well ask for set effects. Or passive stats.
