So whenever an update happens, I am not able to download it.
It always gets to around 70-75% and hangs....
Can somebody just explain why? I know I can wait and I will be patient, but I am just wondering if somebody knows what is going on?

I find those updates take forever to finish.
This is purely a windows problem. I'm not sure what causes it, honestly. If I find the time/bandwidth, I'll upload my SK folder, which is already up to date. If you are on Steam, use the "Verify local game file cache" or some button like that. I forget.
Oh, and speaking of the updater, maybe you could go to the Task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del), right click on the SK icon. Hit the "View process..." option there. Don't worry, I'm almost done. Right click on the Java32 (Or the alike.) and go to the priorities section. From there you can raise the priority, which will increase the time the CPU will focus on it. This MIGHT speed things up significantly.
I dont know about that. I have never had a problem updating the client and I am running Windows. Its got to be something else =/
Try keeping the updater on your screen. That way your computer priorities it over you other thing.
