There are some problems with spectator mode that need to be addressed.
1. It's impossible to follow recons because the camera doesn't recenter when they uncloak. Make it do this.
2. The game should auto-follow the game you're currently in.
3. This should be disabled for GvG or players should be given the ability to vote on whether they want it on or not. Tie means no.
4. The game should show spectators in the party
Yes, you can tell your buddy where a recon is if he uncloaks. It's rather unlikely that people will actually bother with this, though, and you can already just scroll through to find the recon again. All it does is add the annoyance of scrolling again.
Yeah, another little "spectators" sections would be ideal.
- what about free reign over the camera functions. be able to change the camera view because its on spectator mode not actually playing.
- also be able to choose witch team you are viewing instead of just scrolling through players.
- be able to follow one selected player all the way to the respawn point, instead of following a different player once that player gets killed.
- have some kind of spectator betting function where a spectator bet which team will win. what the spectators would be betting is there matrials and not crowns. no too much people care about matrials. ( just a sugestion, doesnt have to be implemented. )
- be able to view the correct tier. ( cause for some reason tier, 1 is tier 2, tier 2 is tier 3 and i cant view tier 1 matches.
- be able to chose from a list of the players playing to follow instead of scrolling. the list will be seperated into two, one for each opposing team.
- be able to invite player in haven that are not doing anything to the spectator view, (not from clock works.)
- also have spectator chat locked to only be able to talk to other spectators and not be able to talk to other players until the match is done or has left the game.

- I saw another thread about this, issues with minors gambling came up, but I don't see any other problems
- You can't see t1 matches because none are happening, they are displayed as tier 0, yes this should be fixed
- Much more ideal than scrolling, with a full 12 players this is a pain
- This would be fine but it's a pretty minor inconvenience to tell someone what game you're in.
- It already is, unless you're suggesting that people be unable to tell anyone outside the match until the match ended. You can already PM someone from an alt or use another chat service, so this doesn't do much against someone serious about ghosting, and really just makes an annoyance if you're trying to talk with people while spectating.
One thing about the recon problem is that if it recenters then you can always tell your buddy where he is at at that given time. Over all I like the other suggestions except for 4 because then the party just gets spammed with spectators o .e Now if they made a different party just for the spectators then that is a totally different story.
