Ghosts in the machine - Very bad lag issues

As from yesterday, I've done the new prestige mission and I've realized how bad the lag was. The 2nd depth was super laggy due to the amount of shock balls that move around. There are too much enemies placed, especially a mob full of undead enemies. It seems that there is a full room of enemies. For example:

The room is let's say maybe 20 x 20 squares. There are enemies on maybe all of the squares. You take out the ghost block, and there is a huge mob that comes after you.

So what I'm suggesting is to remove some shock balls because I'm concerned that when you get the key from the right side of the level, there are 6 shock balls that go up and down and which may seem impossible because of the lag and amount of shock balls.

I don't want to be so pushy or anything, but I just want to do some changes to Ghosts in the machine. It is super laggy alot. So maybe we can do something to the enemies? Remove some shock balls? At least something to help remove the lag. If you have something nice, it would be nice if you could post it up here. If your here to get mad by being rude here or raging at me, then here's a advice. Don't come here if you have nothing nice to say.

@Ben I totally agree, GitM

@Ben I totally agree, GitM lags quite a bit for me even on low graphics despite the fact my computer is a somewhat high end system with 12 GB RAM, Quad Core processor, and a 3GB graphics card. The one stage on the left on D25 that has all the bombies kills my FPS. When I'm in that spot I just don't go into the upper half of the room anymore so that seems to help a bit. I think OOO needs to nerf that room a bit anyway because if you're fighting something in the upper half of the room, the bombies spawn like crazy and before you know it you have like 20 bombies all exploding at once in your face and there's no way to avoid it. And the shock drones on the right hand side are annoying as hell too, it takes me so many tries just to get the key past them because getting sucked into them from the unbelievable amount of lag with both FPS and the "you live more than 50 feet from the servers so enjoy your extremely high latency" lag.

Also @Duke For me UIMF isn't nearly as bad as GitM when it comes to lag.

What we need...

...is something to replace the shock balls, that serves the same purpose yet is rendered and behaves as a single object so as to cause less lag. Also, if you turn your graphics settings down, you'll find that there is a lot less lag without having the shock balls trailing 10 million little lightning bolts. Same goes for the bombie bullets.

I'm just saying, just remove some shock balls. On the right side of the depth, it has like 10 shock balls. I'm saying that they should remove 5. Or less
