i have just got the option to do the RJP mission, and was wishing some people could help me with equipment and weapons.
i currently have:
dusker cap.
wolver coat.
shockburst brandish.
shadow-tech alchemer/ or snarble barb.
owlite shield (2*)
i have 200 ce and 1000 cr.
help please?
Your equipment should be fine. The piercing sword is nearly useless (everything in RJP resists piercing, except for silkwings), so leave it at home. Your proto-Voltedge and Umbra Driver are great. Your armor protects against normal and piercing, which is mostly what you want. Your shield is fine, although Barbarous Thorn Shield would be better. I would upgrade either your suit or your shield to 3 stars.
Work on your skill in not getting hit. Kite the monsters, releasing Voltedge charges. Set a goal, such as making it through the second level without taking any damage. This is training for Tier 3, where expert players rarely get hit. That's how you make it through RJP with good-but-not-awesome gear.
For RJP? Ha, no.
Go grind Snarbolax a couple more times and get a Bristling Buckler.
Consider switching swords to the brandish series whenever you upgrade. Specifically combuster, although if you like the shock that your sword currently has there is voltedge as well, which might save you some time farming since you're 2*.
The piercing sword, as people have said, is nearly useless against the slimes/construct you'll be fighting in RJP. Don't bother bringing it.
i have indeed (as bopp said) made it trough with my current gear, thanks for all the tips. (i now have a sealed sword(and almost a faust))
It's not the best, but good enough. It's the first T2 boss after all, you should be fine as is.
