I know costume items obtained from energy packs cannot be destroyed or sold. But they are not bound until they are equipped. So it's something like ordinary ones. You can trade, and you can sell them to vendor as well. More over, they are randomly obtained and have so many styles, I really don't want to collect them all.
Actually I get one Divine Stranger Hat and one Sniped Stranger Hat from trading. And I find Divine one is not as shiny as Sniped one. I don't wear it at all. So I want get rid of it.
