Does the effects of shields affect our stats in LD?
eg.
Swiftstrike Buckler
Scarlet Shield
etc.

People have been saying they do give their bonuses but i don't believe them. I just want to clarify. Thx in advance...

Shields are unused in LD and

Shields are unused in LD and give no bonuses or effects at all. The shields are effectively replaced with your class tool (guardian shield, striker booster, recon cloak) which have their own sets of abilities in place of the typical, CW shield.

Processing Thoughts of You Always

In LD, shields have no other purpose other than the standard effect on tier that all equipment has.
They provide absolutely no bonus in PvP, which is why my shield for all LD purposes is automatically an Iron Buckler.

Erm, YES.

While you cannot shield in LD with your shield, any passive effects will carry over, eg. Swifty's ASI, DTS' Damage and Scarlets' health.

Trust me, I used the Swifty loads when I was still into T2 LD.

Shields aren't equipped when in Lockdown.

Just open your character window (shortcut P) while in Lockdown and check it out by yourself by hovering over those icons at the bottom.

I have a question.

It's kinda related to this, does heat apply in lockdown?

As in..."does a +10 weapon

As in..."does a +10 weapon have it's CTR+2 bonus?"

Then yes, it does. The "killed by" animation just assumes the player has "no inspect" on and only shows you the weapon itself, assuming no UVs or +s.
