I suggest adding Black and White color changers. They shouldn't be pickable at the knight creation, nor at the misc. vendor at the Bazaar, but instead rewarded for completing tasks like this:

White, for reaching the Sanctuary?
Black, for completing all danger missions?

The thing is, a lot of the players who I have talked to (and me myself) want a black or white color changer. So, why not?

I remember at least three threads on this topic, meaning there are probably ten times that many.

Black is the color which absorbs all spectrum of light, reflecting none back; a void for light. White is all three types of cones in your eyes which sense color (red, green, blue) being stimulated at once; the "all color".

Reaching the Sanctuary lets you craft Shadow Lair exclusive equipment such as the Snarbolax and Almirian sets. Danger missions are only a couple floors long and have high payouts. Next we should ask for a free CE reward for crafting equipment, right?

Black will make our face (eyes) invisible.
And what if I got white, then replace it and want it again. The way you put it makes it look like a one-time only thing.
Selling them at bazaar at leasts creates a mini-sink.

@Luguiru: To be fair, posting on those threads would probably result in 'stop necroing old threads', given that they're all pretty old.

@OP: Having black would blend your eyes in with most helms, which would be creepy. I have no issue with white, but I think it would be a better idea to have them available as a colour from Vatel (possibly at a premium price, but still purchaseable).

They don't want those colours

They don't want those colours because they're too basic. They want the game colourful and exciting, not to have a bunch of emo/goths running around clad in pure black whining about how awful their life is on the forums....oh, wait...

Srsly though, even the Snarby armour has glowing red bits. There's plenty of colours to choose from, and they want people to choose colours that match their armours and styles, not to just have people choosing white because "it matches everything". Then half the pop would just choose white (including a large LD skolver clone collection) and we'd lose a valuable gold sink and the game would look clonier than ever.

@Aureate, Yes. I'm pretty sure what Luguiru is getting at is that this thread shouldn't have been created at all. People have asked for it in the past, the devs know that people have asked for it, and they decided not to put it in. Creating another thread with no additional information doesn't change that situation.

"emo/goths running around clad in pure black whining about how awful their life is"
"goths"

Deploying short rant

Goth and "emo" are not the same, though usually people from both groups may look similar. "Emo" is essentially what you just described; whining, sulking around, and being depressed whether they have any reason to or not. To say goth is the same as that is like saying being "cool" means a guy wearing sunglasses and having absurdly muscular arms. Usually people stereotype goths as wearing black and sulking around, but neither of those are what goth actually is.

For example, I consider myself a goth; do I wear black all the time? Almost never. Do I wear copious amounts of makeup or any makeup at all? No, but I still have a little cut on my eye from when someone poked me with their fingernail; and I have never used makeup for anything, especially when I have a cut or something on my face. That would mess with the healing process. Do I sulk around? N- Well, sometimes, but not about my own problems. So what makes me goth? My outlook on the world. Some people see the world as their oyster and everything will always end happily ever after, they get their way all the time, and whatever is justified is done, right? Goth look at the world, sees what is actually happening, and tries to make the best of it. For example, the somewhat recent crown glitch which was never truly resolved. Non-goth perspective says to go in there and get rid of all the crowns or die trying, but goth says plan A is to solve the problem but if that fails plan B is to cope and make the best of what we have. Sure, those millions of crowns are still floating around whether in a wallet or as some UVs, but what will crying and pouting do? Annoy people, causing more problems. That is what emo does. Goth would try to get some of those fake crowns and burn them through UVs to help solve the problem as much as possible while emo either does nothing to help or contributes to the problem by generating even more crowns and throwing them on the economic pile.

After reading that some of you probably think of yourselves as goth. Does that mean to dress like the stereotype? If you want. No one says you have to. Beep boop, son.

Forget Subjects.

Black would work better as grey because if you choose black your face would look like black ink from a pen and white would need some type of outline added to the face.

@Luguir: You took that way

@Luguir: You took that way too literally, I was just using the "running around in pure black" to take an excuse to take a dig at people who take any excuse to whine, since we already have multiple threads complaining about originality, clones, repetitiveness etc

Black and White

I personally don't see an issue. An eyeless black void for a face? That sounds freakin' awesome. White? I'm for it. I'd like to have a white dove-like snipe on my sniped hat.

You obviously don't know the meaning of racist. Even if he was talking about races like "African American" or "Caucasian", it still wouldn't be racist. Just because someone mentions a race doesn't mean it's racist. This is racist: " White people are better than black people." or "Black people suck." Racist means you're against a race or you think a race is better than another. If racist means that then you're the one being racist because you're the one who had to mention that it sounds/looks racist.

Our system could go out of hand and trolls would make fun of them sometimes. They could say "It looks ugly on you", then they won't like it and it could still be racist.

So it's only racist if it's with the colour black or white? I agree wtih Darkbrady. If it were to be racist with the colour black or white then it's racist with every colour because when he says black, he's not talking about looking African or anything like that. That's like saying it's racist to call the colour "Yellow" ugly because most people call Asians yellow, so if yellow weren't to be a personal colour and someone suggested it and then somebody would think it's ugly, then that would seem racist in your eyes. They're not really called yellow, black, or white. It's Asian, African American, and Caucasian. He's not suggestion skin colours or races, he's suggestion personal colours/outlines for your knight.
