Just an option to show a backlog of like:

only guild chat

only personal messages

only zone chat

only local chat

Right now if I have to walk away from the pc for a few minutes, i put myself in guild hall so that I dont get spammed with a thousand advertisements for gear. If not, any guild or personal messages get lost in the back log.

Objection!

"Right now if I have to walk away from the pc for a few minutes, i put myself in guild hall so that I dont get spammed with a thousand advertisements for gear."

That's a contractiion!

Ye should be able to disable that kind of chat filter!

Back to the suggestions.

If ye noticed what I said above, that's an instance. AN INSTANCE.

We could use the same function that could disable some sort of chat like in guild or whispers.

So

Ask them what you missed. Ask the guild. This is only an issue for you

So

I know how to solve this. Just answer my questions

1) How much people are in your guild?
2) How much people come on often as an average?
3) Does the guild hall get crowded everytime? If it's quiet, I don't see an issue.
4) How often does your guild send messages?

How often do your friends send messages? Is it annoying to ask everyone what happened while you were away? Yes, it is. I usually just hit up the guildhall, though a filter'd be nice.

The guildhall is nice, but

The guildhall is nice, but sometimes don't you just want to stay in haven, not have to go through an unnecessary loading screen upon returning?
