I'd say very much less.
More like 7-9k CE. ASI isn't much desired on Cali lines--ASI VH on a 2* is 4-6k CE--and CIV is the less favoured branch.

Two sides of the coin
Thanks to Derpules, I decided to keep my CIV.
Why?
Very simple. This item would turn out to be a very solid investment now because it would need a tweak at some point in the future. And when it does, it could appreciate in value by more than what Xcel has forecast. The benefit of keeping it now outweights the benefit of selling it.
Before people jump into this thread and says "but what about DA?" The title says it all.

I agree.
Were I you, I'd keep it too, but maybe for a different reason. Quite apart from whether or not it gets buffed, it's already a nice, fun sword with a good UV. Some items are more useful than their market value suggests!
