I thought it would be awesome to have a place to keep my money so I don't always feel like I have to spend it. I'm one of those people where money burns a hole in my pocket.
Also thought it would be awesome to have player owned houses. Something that we as players could use to customize our on piece of Cradle. Why should just guild members get a place to call their own? :P
If you have money burning a hole or crystal energy in your pocket, transfer it into a separate account. You can make them for free. Voila, you even get password protected storage!
No houses is the general consensus on this game. They have been suggested several times, and nobody has come up with an idea that was unique/useful/interesting enough to actually warrant their implementation. In addition, you haven't included any detail of what precisely those houses would involve, and what you could do with them.

Storage is infinite so you can put as much crowns as you'd like. Have too much? Use it for CE. Don't want to buy it? Take Aureate's banking tip. Transfer it into your own account. It is now a bank account with a password. That is Aureate's tip.
No houses, this was god damn suggested before like 145 times. No, they are the same as guild halls
I'd much rather see custom features for Guild Halls, where you can pick different rooms and looks for the guild hall, in addition to obtaining unique features, such as a guild shop/AH, changing the BGM and Guild Battle Hall for pvp battles within a guild where the GM's can make rules etc.
If you want a bank, it could be a Guild Bank, where you donate money to the guild, and gain interest, and the GM can like wise use donations to buy some of those new features, which could also include things like "Guild Supply Depot with Discounts based on how much you give to donations" or "Mini games" or Guild Hall Private Spaces where players can have their own room in the Guild Hall, where achievements are displayed as trophies.
There is a lot of untapped potential here if they want to go that route, but personal houses is not the answer, and yeah, banks would be sort of pointless, unless you just want to have a storage chest, in which case, have fun not having all your crowns in a SL run when you want to buy more CE to revive.
Makes you wonder how us knights are able to carry all those crowns and that ton of CE in our pockets =P

It's a guild. Wee do need beds to sleep somewhere, but we cant go around and build personal houses.

We need places to sleep instead of sleeping on the floor with a Cardboard protecting us. I feel homeless this way.
Houses would be kinda over doing it, but a place to put money and or buy furniture for a guild hall would be nice.

Maybe beds, I guess, but then again, definitely not houses. Just like Trabias mentioned above ^^^ , this isn't Club Penguin. If I'm not mistakened, a few notable knights (npc ones of course) do have beds. In the description for the Strike Needle it says "Plans to modify the Strike Needle for non-combat usage were shelved after a recruit accidently riddled Lieutenant Feron's bunk with holes". So I guess some knights do have beds, its just that the few million players don't.................
But don't ye think us knights should be uh...

@Thungerbog Just like I mentioned in many threads before, us Knights aren't human beings. I doubt we are alive as well since we don't do/have some of the following: Movement-Reproduction-Sensitivity-Growth-Respiration-Excretion-Nutrition. 1. We don't reproduce (well, I don't think we do anyways 2. It doesn't appear as if we excrete anything (damage bars don't count) 3. We don't require nutrients to survive (with the exception of Mist Energy, which really doesn't count at all).
I really do believe that we are mechanical and not organic, for starters, there really doesn't seem to be anything organic on us. First of all, ours heads are basically display screens in my opinion. And right now you are probably like "Yeah, but papaya? We could be wearing helmets, duh!" Well, if we are already "wearing" a helmet, then why do we need to wear ANOTHER one? (armor)
Now I know that a nearly all video games lack logic, but take some time to think all of this through (and other things).
@Benightz Exactly, we are STRANDED on a planet with limited resources (well, the resources we got from Isora anyways). We ain't livin' high lives bro (It really make you wonder how they got THAT many ingredients to make ALL those cakes for the Anniversary..............)
Honestly, what's with people and owning houses and property? For god sake everyone, we are stranded on a planet with limited resources as well as space. This isn't heaven (or Isora) for your information. I'm not too sure how many players are in the game, but even if there were only 1,000, there would still be a lack of space. Think about it, how big is Haven? How big are the houses behind Vatel and a few other strangers? If I'm not mistaken you could only fit about 70 of those houses in the Bazaar, in haven maybe 100-175. In the arcade.............well I don't know why you would want to have a house there. The last time I checked no knight/stranger had houses underground. So, 175+70=225. That's less than a quarter of the population. Ok, lets say that they did have underground houses, there would still be only 550 homes available.
Next, you suggest "guild houses". Unless you want a house to be able to fit around 30 people then I still doubt you could fit THAT many houses into our tiny little Haven.
Once Spiral HQ expands haven then MAYBE we could have enough space. But I still don't like the idea of homes, we are barely surviving, much less thriving
