Do you miss running thru the Clockworks old-school style? Remember the days when you'd enter the Arcade, run to an elevator, see which Tiers had which random configurations of SK levels and monsters, how many arenas there may be, and then you'd enter and run thru the depths slashing, bombing and shooting thru anything that got in your way? I do!!!
And you know what I miss the most? ARENAS!!! Those depths where there were 3 separate rooms, each progressing in difficulty; you could choose to duck out after the first arena if you needed to or fight on and be rewarded with more heat, crowns, mats, etc, and heralded as SK champions!
My suggestion to OOO? Make a "Daily Arena Prestige Run" -- something very similar to "The Gauntlet" (Rank Mission 9-2) in which as you approach each room you are given directions as to what monsters you will face in the upcoming arena and you can gear up appropriately. You could make it be just a single depth where you'd pay 10 Energy to enter the depth and then fight your way through however far you desire to try; you could make it be 2 depths that cost 10 Energy each -- the first depth being a normal stage that you run thru and the 2nd depth being the actual Arena Depth; OR, and this is an idea that is still formulating for me, you could make it be one depth where you pay 10 Energy to enter, you fight thru the first arena, then the 2nd gate costs 3 or 5 Energy to pass into, and again on the 3rd gate there would be another Energy payment.
As to handling Prestige payout and party invitations: (if it is only 1 Depth)
If you completed the entire Arena depth (all 3 arena rooms) you'd be rewarded with say, 180 Prestige.
If you ducked out after having completed the first 2 arena rooms, 100 Prestige.
Only the very first arena room, 40 Prestige.
Once you've left the depth and have been rewarded with the appropriate Prestige you could not go back to try to get the extra Prestige -- ex: you run the first arena for 40 Prestige and leave. Later in the day you are invited to a party and run thru all 3 arena rooms -- you get heat, crowns, etc. but no more Prestige for that day.
Also, instead of the normal format within each arena (meaning empty open space in rooms 1 and 2 and spikes in room 3) make it more random or surprising like the Arena depth found in "Rise or Fall" (Rank Mission 5-2) or the Danger Rooms that you used to find when running thru Clockwork Depths that someone in the party would pay 3 Energy to enter -- traps and blocks and bombs and spikes and all of that that makes it more fun and interesting to navigate!

Id rather keep the arenas in the arcade, that literally is the only thing that keep the arcade running besides recipes
ID RATHER REMOVE ALL HEAT FROM RANKED MISSIONS THAN NERF THE ARCADE EVEN MORE!!
