Today after the update I tried to move from Moorcroft to Power Complex-Slimeway in the Iron Clover gate and after clicking descend (and paying my 10 ME) the screen went black, showing only the descend arrow, and the level did not load. I was able to access the options menu by pressing escape, but I could not use and of the other hot-keys/access other menus. I returned to Haven, thinking that it might gave been just a weird fluke, but then it happened again.

I got the same thing, but on different gates. After the second time, I decided to come here and see if others were reporting similar problems, which turns out to be the case. Fortunately for me, I only spent Mist trying the gates, but unfortunately I will be on my way to work by the time the reboot is complete and not be back home for at least about 10 hours, at which time I expect the half-price elevator thing to be over. C'est la vie, I guess.
I got stuck at the login screen on the way out (thought I'd log out rather than just exiting, to see if I could find anything to poke at) and had to force-quit because the "Quit" button is removed from the "Esc" menu at the login screen, apparently because there's a "Quit" button there too. ...which I could not touch for some reason, I guess possibly related to the level names and "Descend" button interface not being dismissed. :(
Yeah it's getting really annoying and a huge waste of energy. :1
