i know this is outragous but im gonna post it anyway

how bout making a market where players need to buy a deed or something to sell things
but you dont get taxes so its fair

We already have auctioning which involves taxes. Taxes are part of markets. Besides, you already said "players need to buy a deed or something" so you would be paying for it anyway. Would the deed be a permanent ownership, going against the whole part of the game where us knights are just taking refuge in Haven under the Strangers, or would it be a rental deal where you have to pay over time and some of your profits?

Auction satisfies almost everything we could ask in a public market without having to sit around waiting for people to come by or worrying about leaving your store overnight and having someone give you a better offer only to find it bought already. You could say auction still has anonymity and you might want something other than crowns, so this.
