You can buy heat for most things, it costs-
3500 CE - (40K Cr + 1100 CE +/- additional recipe costs + time - opportunity cost per doing levels with sub par equipment)
There are a few more things to factor in, but I'm tired of writing this so you can figure them out.

Levels leading up to a boss
Levels leading up to a boss give lots of heat, even Snarby's. Sure it takes time, but you get mats and tokens as well.
And if you can find enough decent players for an arena or gauntlet floor, then so much the better.

Heat amplifier = Double heat = Faster heat
Somebody mentioned it here. Also, now that wasn't so hard, wasn't it? Now, if you need loads of heat, do FSC and you should be able to get quick heat

Well, to put it simply, nobody needs it, heat is already easy enough to obtain compared to the amount of grinding you need to get enough CE to craft, the only cathegory of people who I can think will benefit from something like that would be people who buys CE to spamcraft gear, but, by god, what's the point of spamcrafting if you don't even play with it long enough to heat it yourself?
