During my adventures into the Arcade, I've seen lots and lots of maps; some of them are ho-hum, while others are extremely creative, and I enjoy playing through multiple times. Some of these maps have given me a few ideas, and I'd like to be able to see how they would look if they were in a map. I'd appreciate it if there was some way to create maps for other players to have fun in. I also have a few suggestions on how to implement them:
1) Design a rating system in which players could rate their enjoyment of the map from 1 to 5, and fill out a detailed survey (to earn a few extra crowns) on what they thought about the map (asking about the quantities of in-game objects, shape/size/design of the level, adherence to theme, etc.) High-rated maps would be featured, and low-rated maps with at least 25 votes to be deleted (25 is an arbitrary number to keep high quality maps from being deleted by the first troll who plays them.)
2) I'd like to see some of the best levels incorporated into the arcade levels as well; the possibility of this could entice players to create some very impressive levels. Perhaps creators of maps that do make it into the arcade could be rewarded in some way as well.
3) To reduce the clutter of lower quality maps, there could be a fee placed on creating maps; a few hundred crystal energy sounds good to me.
Since I do not know how to computatorize, I have now knowledge of the practicality of undertaking such a project. If this is at least close to being in the realm of possibility, I'd like the game developers to consider it. I'd also like to see what other players think about this.
Thank you for your consideration.
A guild/group of friends can cheat and rate each other. I mean, the standard guild size is of 100 players, and you can have 250 friends...
25 is a super low arbitrary number.
