Clockwork Tunnels

Constructs: There are several Scaffolding scattered in the background, like IMF. There are also scattered bodies of constructs, as with the anchient generator, that can be rezerected by Menders.

Undead: There are cobwebs and the hue takes a dark, foggy, abandoned mood, similar to the Anchient generator.

Beast: There are several removed, scratched areas with patches of mud and grass. There are also huts scattered around.

Gremlin: Has several mechanical gears, scaffolding in the levels, background Twhackers and Schorchers mending the level. There are also some makeshift settlements like In emberlight. There are more removed sections.

Fiend: There are runes, paperwork, and alchemising equipment areas in there, as well as magazines.

Slime: Slime is rampant there and goo and spikes covers walls.

Dude, when was the last time you visited the Clockworks? Many, if not all, of the things you mentioned already exist there...

What Irthan was saying.

Other than simple colour change, there is nothing different in some levels.

After a few too many hours into the night of derping in Wakfu last night I came to one of many obvious realizations: Spiral Knights lacks the feeling of a full world. You have the little town with unenterable buildings and birds everywhere, then you have the weird port to go down into the planet, then you have stuff inside the planet that seems to be floating in space. What about the rest of the world? Is the outside world relevant to the inner or is it just a place to fight stuff?

Not going to talk about Wakfu this time. Nurp. Not going to do it.

"Wasteworks" refers only to the status type. It was an Infernal Passage (Fiend) level. Emerald Serpent(?) gate, Depth 19.

There are already girders and beams scattered througout all the clockwork levels. More in Mechanized Miles and Gremlin Grounds would be great

Pretty sure Haunted Passages already have darkened fog and cobwebs. Again, more cobwebs would be great.

I'm all for the mud and dirt. I don't think the huts should be added though.

I don't think too much more stuff is neccessary. Just add a few gears and beams.

There are already runes in the mineral rooms. Just scatter them througout the level.

Yush. Slime blobs everywhere. Colored slime blobs to match the status.
