Actually, 1500ce per Eerie Key is an average price. Normal keys (That I've recently seen) seem to go from 950-1050ce. That being said, the Eerie Keys are not valued the same, as they are a promotional item that you are forced to buy from the store. TF2 players have them valued at 1.5-2 keys at the moment, and once the promotion is over, they will turn back into normal keys (November 9th) which at that point they would be worth 950-1050.
I appreciate the offer, but I'm currently not looking to stray away from my current price.
If you're thinking "That's the TF2 pricing, not SK pricing, they could easily be different!" Most people in TF2 make an initial 'investment' as traders. From there, they buy low/ sell high & even sell the items they get from their daily drops. Over time, many people choose to sell their keys via paypal. When they do, you of course cannot get market value for them. Keys (on average) go for $1.25-1.50. Though that's somewhat of a wide range, that's what gives the pricing, because there is no way for you to obtain an eerie key without purchasing it from the store at the retail price of $2.50.

makes perfect sense. i'm not a major nagger about the pricing, but it's always great to know the logic behind the market and whatnot. with that, i'll gladly buy some keys off of you for 1500ce. i believe i need about 2-3. i'll add you now. hope we can talk soon and set up some trades.
