Other option would be to craft them up to 4 star or even 5 star and try to sell them to people, but the demand for these things have gone down so much cause everyone is swimming in tokens, I don't know if the price of crafting is worth the price of selling.

Well I had about 120 to 140 jelly gems laying around I just traded them all for swordstone...to Uv craft which gave me nothing good so now I have to waste my crowns on uv crafting ftl

Tokens cannot be traded though, and items bought with them are bound upon purchase, unfortunately.
I have too many; I do wish I could offload some to those who need them.

So solo it. Anyone who is an asset to a party that kills the king can win solo at least 1 time in 3. More often if you buy your vials at Moorcroft Manor and don't depend on luck.

As for soloing the king... I'm a gunslinger for now, the king isn't very sympathetic toward my kind. Maybe once I've got a 5 star set of gunslinger gear I'll start working on a swordsman outfit, but I can't afford to work on 2 outfits at the same time right now. My equips are all 3 star right now too and my main weapon is a needle shot (horrible against jellys). When I join parties for JK I usually switch to my sword (cutter) but that means that my weak little piercing defense gunslinger armor offers no real defense and I take damage really fast (even the little slimes are smacking me for like 4 hp). I recently made a prismatech alchemer just to have a gun to use as a side arm instead of the sword, but that thing's gonna be useless at the king (if I do JK runs I'll probably stick to my sword as it's more helpful). That's all the problems with me trying to solo the king, but even worse is trying to even get down to the king. I would take several hours kiting around those levels leading up to the JK slowly but surely taking damage, dying, and losing a lot of energy using my puny little 2* prismatech alchemer. It's not practical at all for me to go down alone. Plus I as a physical factor I live in Hawaii which makes me lag a bit more than normal due to the extra connection distance; never a pleasant surprise to suddenly find myself in the middle of some poisonous brambles when I thought I was running circles around a jelly.
Anyway darn I didn't know the tokens couldn't be traded =/. I though I saw someone once advertise selling them, but the trade chat goes up so fast I probably just misread it. Buy an antigua, train it up, and forge it into a black hawk for me with my ingredients and I'll take it that way >:D lol jk (although it is possible since I'm holding on to an unused recipe for a black hawk, but if it came to that I'd rather ask u to just come down with me xP). Once I get the antigua and forge it into a black hawk I'll have a gun able to do decent dps to the king, and soloing might be possible, but that's not going to help me right now while I'm trying to get the antigua.

I too reside within the series of islands several hundreds of miles off the coast of Cali.
The post you saw in the trade chat may have been someone selling the use of tokens; basically you would just pay them a fee for their using of their tokens, to get whatever material you wanted.

You had a good idea riding with the Blackhawk there, but further unfortunately;
A monster's resistance is much higher their weakness, so you would still be dealing reduced damage against Slimes with a Blackhawk. Being a Gunslinger, you're at a few odds when touring the Jelly Palace, since it's basically a Swords area.
It'd be a good idea to hang onto that sword of yours and carry it. Shield in prediction of a Jelly's attack, and use the pushback effect of shielding when a mob is within shield radius when the Jellies swarm you/attempt to attack.

I bought 10 brute jelly
I bought 10 brute jelly shields and sold them to the vendors.
A waste I know but at least I got some money out of it.
Probably should start saving them to craft stuff to sell for later but the market is flooded. I can't get a UV to save my jelly soul.

That's what I did with the rest of mine (jelly helm to kozma). But I'm sure its still more profitable to use them to level sealed swords into something and sell, I just don't care to do so. I should at least buy an antigua but I can't seem to care to do it...I'm after quick direct money again..
