I would love if we can have voting for those people that ask wich weapon is better.so it can be better to decide which weapon is better out of the gear that gets the most votes on.because sometimes a topic gets 2 many answers and i dont feel like reading all of them and sometiems u get confused too.It also helps way faster to decide on answers.

sorry if u dont get what i mean.i didn't know how to explain myself better.;p

uh

Well.. Drupal has many functions unavailable unlike some other generic forums such as vBulletin and stuffs.

Yup, that means this forums has no poll, no voting, no spam limits, many of the no nos.

UNLESS ye're going to talk about game voting, I'm out.

I understand you.

I also know how to put it better:

POLLS!

Just allow the thread maker to make a poll with custom options. That's probably what you mean. Drupal should have that. You need to get the right add-on, but then it should work.

It's always a matter of preferences and specific situation you want it for. Saying X weapon is better than Y is wrong.

If your question was "Glacius

If your question was "Glacius or Final Flourish" then a poll would be skewed horribly and most of those "boring posts" would be explaining why the question doesn't make sense.
Poll = useless.

If the question was "Is FoV good?" then a poll would be based entirely on opinions and the majority of the "boring posts" would be discussing the worthwhileness of it and any tests or stats while stating their opinion.
Poll = useless

If the question was "Glacius or Combuster" then almost every post would be "Which do you prefer?".
Poll = useless

If the question was "Voltedge or Winmillion" then a poll would only serve as usefully as virtually any post in the thread that'd give a fairly definitive answer. You'd have no need to read all the "boring posts" because they'd all pretty much say the same thing.
Poll = next to useless

If the question was "Pie-Pie-Pirates or Cakeish Ninja" then they would be absolutely flooded with heated debate and attention from all players, giving both opinions and facts on the tense subject, but unfortunately has nothing to do with anything with the game, which I find as a critical flaw when discussing the forums of a specific game.
Poll = useless here

If you don't like reading posts...don't read them all, but you can usually get the answer you wanted by just skimming and reading every few posts in a page, or just the first/lasts. Or, just read them all and get the accurate information you need. It's not as if polls will really help on most subjects here, since a lot of it is heavily based on opinion and the things with direct, certain answers often being very obvious or undisputed.

No polls on the forums

The forums is meant to read. You should also learn everyone's thoughts and opinions by reading what they are saying. Some of them have lots of details to give about it.

Drupal may not have all the functions that everyone wants. Drupal might create a new one, but what Thunderbog said, they don't have lots that are available.

You haven't been to their site...

have you?

I'm not saying this is a good or bad thing. I am largly neutral on this. HOWEVER, I'm pointing out that it should be possible.

Not even once.

But still, if the function is not official, that'll be a problem.

For my thoughts.
