Competitive CW Runs (Repeatable Mission?)

So, what we all need is some CW runs that we feel we have a reason to bother going through, something to spice it up again. We look at LD and half of what people do is just compete for scores and "bests", so why not give something akin to it in the CWs? I propose introducing a gate/mission (something that can be easily accessed as the other missions, but is otherwise infinitely repeatable) for Competitive CW Runs that have stat boards at the end for people to compete for, akin to the LD record boards, but with more detail. It will award no prestige and still cost Elevator Fees; in fact it'll otherwise be just a regular CW run, except that:

~A random gate will be chosen at your selected Sub-Town (or a specific boss can be chosen)
~The Gate Map and Elevator Icons will be hidden/locked
~Arsenal Stations will be locked (?)

The record board will obviously need to include a lot more than it does for LD, as even teh LD board completely ignores all support contributions. It would need to cover a variety of things to give players the best inclination to do everything or really fight for scores against each other. It could include any or all of the following:

Damage Dealt
Damage Taken
Amount Healed
Deaths
Revives
Shield Damage Taken
# Times Shield Broken
# Statuses Inflicted
# Statuses Received
Most Used Weapon

Ofc I may be overlooking some (feel free to suggest more?), but I expect the point has been made? So, at the end of the run, when you get your item/cr report, there'll be a wee button/window to display the scores for the players (without a time limit, ofc).

Would give us a reason to do a CW run other than money, while still lending the same costs and which will also clear up the repeatable/grind factor of repeatedly doing FSC. I'd suggest no rewards or prizes for the "winners" otehr than maybe extra cr or w/e, as we don't want it to become aggressive and cause fallout amongst players; it's just meant to be something for fun; like at the end of LD. The "best" players and the waste of spaces all get bunged together to have a giggle about their numbers~

As different as this would be, success in the Clockworks is rewarded by your and/or team survival. No competition involved. You work with a team, you keep each other alive, everyone is happy.

If we start separating the damage spewers as superior they would think their methods are better regardless of what anyone else did. Think of support bombers compared to a Combuster/Voltedge/Glacius spammer. What does the Brandish junkie show for? Damage and statuses dealt. What does the bomber have? Some statuses. Not really much damage. Suddenly bombers are labelled as worthless.

Anyone who considers one of the few teamwork relevant features of the game a competition does not deserve to experience it. Even if there are no rewards, not that there should be rewards after already earning resources by playing through. Competitions are for fights among each other, not against our common "foe". If you want to reward people for working as a team it would be too subjective to lay specific prompts.

Have you never done challenge

Have you never done challenge CW runs in Proto or playing Protect the Civilian? After a certain stage in your development as a player, you can do earlier missions without needing to work that hard as a team and want challenges; different things for fun? A competive run would be for fun, to challenge yourselves and each other. Like I say, there'd be no real reward or prize for "winning", it'd just be some friendly competition; for guilds and such I think we'd all have a good laugh fightin' for it.

As for your example; well the players would have to recognise that he is a bomber. It's not like LD where you may not see what everyone is doing; in a small, 4man party you should be well aware of what players do what. If someone spends the whole time hazing and gets no damage, you really sholdn't be surprised. If they still judge the bomber then...well, stop playing with PUGs and get a run with your guild, really.

Could also have "most used weapon" listed as well. It's not got anythin' to do with winning, just about some rivarly. I mean, it's a different mindset; go from "Play it safe, survive" to "omg gotta get that kill before he does" and becomes faster and more intense; some excitement like D:
