I know there are plenty of crests out there with unique designs on them. And I enjoy the designs a lot! The little gremlin dismantler crest is one of my favorites. So is the Proto Crest.

I got the Proto Crest when I first started playing, back when I thought I was a hot stack. I no longer have it because I (foolishly) either sold the armor it was on or I just traded it out for something else. I can't remember which.
Now, I'm not going to suggest I get another one, even though I may or may not want it back. What's done is done, and all that. No use in crying to the admins because I derped up with my cool looking glowy green crest. Besides, it's only an aesthetic item that has no effect on my gameplay.

My suggestion is actually to include crests that are similar in style to the Proto Crest, or improve the styles of the color scheme crests in the game to make them more visually... well, cool looking.

I mean, the Proto Crest is shiny, and green, and pretty darn awesome if you ask me. But it's the only crest like it in the game. Maybe there's an obvious reason for that, which would (likely) be that it's supposed to be unique and the only one of its kind because it's a reward for signing up for the newsletter. This reason makes perfect sense, so if the suggestion is utterly shot down, I won't flip tables.

However, why is it that there are the mission reward crests, what with their fancy designs and interesting-ness, and the Proto Crest, with its green shininess and such, but the Divine Crest, Volcanic Crest, Surge Crest and Hallow Crest all have boring squares on them?
Okay, maybe not everyone thinks they're boring. And I personally don't own any of them. But that's largely because I have no desire to. Why doesn't the Volcanic crest have... say... a visual effect similar to the Volcanic Wolver Tail or Dragon/Valkyrie wings? Or the Surge Crest have an arc of electricity around it (or some glowy bluish light, like the Hacked Aura)? Solely possessing the proper color scheme works for the other accessories (unless you're a heavy/toasty scarf, which are inexplicably swapped), but for the crests it just seems... dull. They don't stand out. They just have squares of color.

For the players interested in aesthetics (some more than others; I'm simply wondering why the Proto Crest is the only one that has a glow to it, or that kind of design style), maybe this is a good suggestion/question, maybe it isn't. For those uninterested, move along I suppose, there's nothing of interest for you here.

I tried using the search bar, and couldn't find any suggestions like this one, but I could have missed one (or more). So I apologize if I'm bringing something up that's like beating a dead horse with a dead horse that was beaten by a living horse.
