Please lower the CE prices. They're too high! It used to be 6k >:(
CE prices are too high
They just need to cut down the need of CE on important stuff like crafting and get more alternative, less intrusive CE sinks. And more crowns sinks, obviously.
"They're too high! It used to be 6k >:("
Apparently they also used to be 3K.
"hey just need to cut down the need of CE on important stuff like crafting"
I'd prefer if they didn't change things that may make the game that much easier to progress...
It's not that I hate newbies or anything, it's just that with games like these, the sooner you reach the 'end', the sooner you get bored. Sooner you get bored, sooner you stop playing.
Then there's also noobs who get to annoy players sooner when they get to the higher tiers. I already had one jump my party and invite his friends, who made a dash for the lift when he and his friends got the party wiped, because he wanted to reach the core.
TWICE.
Fortunately, there were monsters in his way, and he was Juuuuust smart enough to realise he couldn't carry on without killing them, and that he couldn't do it himself.

In that case, more content. Much better solution than making people stuck with absurd amounts of grinding.
There's that, but considering how hard to make new, plausible content, we can't really rely on it.
Besides, that takes time for designing, programming, and presumable testing.
The Core was our original 'end', then came shadow lairs. I can't really think of a possible story path that can continue from where the SL's finish off at the moment.
And the SL's take a massive amount of CE to get to :/ Unless you buy, the grinding's gonna persist.
Nothing wrong with that. After all, they're professional developers, that's their job.
It still can be the real end, remember the new rescue camp update and that artifact? Also the shadow lair's void could be part on something big, related to the story.
And yeah, it's really stupid for being so expensive. Actually, almost everything is expensive for the amount of effort it takes.
The players control the market, not OOO. If you want to lower it, go find a solution on lowering it. Don't just sit here and cry all day with your baby rattle thinking that you can't do anything about it and whine for the CE to go down. No solution and you still whine to lower it? Oh, well then it's too bad.
OOO wouldn't intervene with a player-controlled market. But what if they fixed prices for ce? They might be high, i.e. 100cr per 1ce, but at least you'd have the blessed assurance that they wouldn't go any higher. Just a shot in the dark.
OP did messed up on the "suggest something" part, but what you see this as an "another generic complain", I can see that it's one more person not being happy with the ever increasing CE inflation, and that something needs to be done.

The problem that, even if they did that - which they won't - the supply-demand balance could be potentially compromised. If they made it any cheaper than now, the energy supply could run out much more quickly. Which would suck to new players, since you need it to progress the game. So it's not a very good term solution.
and i though theres a rule against changinghte energy system...
"OOO wouldn't intervene with a player-controlled market, but what if they fixed prices for ce?"
...What? Did you just create and conflict your own argument in one sentence?
I read that:
"OOO wouldn't fix prices for ce, but what if they fixed prices for ce?"
I lol'd.
Edit: Oh, and @OP: Please come up with something that will help the issue, not complain about it. Your post is not a suggestion, it is a complaint.

"I don't see YOU trying to find solutions, Benightz"
Well I didn't create the suggestion. I'm not the one crying and whining all day about the CE price
OOO can't do anything about it, the market is player controlled. and people want the most out of everything, which is why it keeps going up. and the fact that cr is so inflated.
