Helm: Shadowsun Stetson (poison low)
Armor: Skolver Coat
Weapon 1: Final Flourish
Weapon 2: Voltedge
Weapon 3: Supernova
Weapon 4: Argent Peacemaker
Trinket: Elite Slash Module
Shield: Crest of Almire
This is for rabid snarby shadow lair.
Also, any tips, suggestions, etc? (My shield cancelling with FF leaves a bit to be desired .__.)

yep, seems great

This should work well for you. I'd leave the Supernova at home, but maybe you want it to press crowds back? A crowd-control bomb such as Voltaic or Shivermist might be even better for that purpose. But Supernova is fine.

I would probably replace the Supernova by a Polaris, which got additional damage against Howlitzers as well as shock. Obviously, whatever your choice, it should only be used against turrets.

Else, everything is ok, but I agree with Bopp that either Supernova or AP should be replaced by a support bomb. They are very useful down there.

Just a little touch would be a Dread Skelly Shield, which have a poison resist. But it's probably overkill to craft it just for that instance. (note that Dread Skelly is also very good for Heart of Ice danger mission, or generally any fiend with freeze or poison status).

Thanks for the advice

Yeah, I was bringing the Supernova for crowd control, but I don't have any of those bombs. I'll keep their use in mind...
And for the Unknown Passageway, should I bring an all purpose defense set (divine veil/skolver coat) or use my chaos set for the universal damage bonuses?

what weapons?

According to the wiki, the monsters in the Unknown Passage deal a lot of normal and a smattering of the other three damage types. And they deal no statuses except for a little poison and stun. And there are no fiends. So it seems that Divine+Skolver is not a great choice (although I have worn it there myself). I'd bring armor that was at least half normal.

Whether the offensive bonuses of Chaos help a lot depends on your weapons. Which ones are you planning, for the Unknown Passage? I recommend defensive weapons with big knockback and crowd-control --- big swords, etc.

What I probably will

What I probably will equip:
Levi (just so I don't waste time switching through 4 weapons to get a usable one)
Supernova (crowd control/all purpose gun)
Voltedge (shock/undead)
Final Flourish (just to have something faster and for beasts)

What I have that may be useful:
Sentenza
Argent Peacemaker
Rocket Hammer
Faust (not gran)

I'm also stumped for what shield to bring.

hmm

Those are your weapons for the Unknown Passage? Hmm. I've never used Levi there. Make sure your party "approves" that choice before you use it. I use Gran Faust there often, but not Faust. Warmaster Rocket Hammer could probably be used to move quickly through swarm seeds; I haven't tried it myself.

A party of Nitronomers is effective and fun. You don't have Shivermist Buster, Voltaic Tempest, or Stagger Storm? Hmm.

For shields, you apparently want a lot of normal defense. All else being equal, you'd also like the offensive bonus of Barbarous Thorn Shield.

I don't mean to be discouraging or doubtful. You'll probably be fine, with maybe a couple of revives in the Unknown Passage. A lot depends on your team. Give it a try; you should do as well as any of us on our first tries. :)

For the unknown passage, as

For the unknown passage, as said Bopp, there is no fiend. Though there are some zombies, but those are not very dangerous, so you can probably skip shadow defense. On piercing, I remember jellies (Lichen) being dangerous, because of their spin attack. I also remember of gremlins (twackers, thanks wiki) and more importantly lumbers, who are dangerous. So you probably want a part with normal + elemental and the other with normal + piercing.

I would be against the Supernova there, the reason being that you won't have enough room for it in the first place : it consists mainly of arenas, and they are just too much mobs everywhere (they randomly respawn anywhere in the arena) to hope for an effective use of any Pulsar. On contrary I would take an AP to do chip damage against Lumbers and destroy blocks/activate switchs during the running part.

To move in the swarm, the FF is already good, not sure the rocket hammer is needed, especially since you already have a Voltedge.

As for the shield, either you go for a normal shield because there is a bit of everything, or you choose what is the most dangerous for you. BTS is a good option with the added offensive bonus (killing things fast there is important).
