Probably already thought of but just in-case it hasn't already been suggested. Anyone got some good suggestion for mini games? I guess the simpler/faster to implement the better? :-)

I think that they'll be unlikely to add real-life games to the GH. They're more likely to add the Shooting Range type games, that are relevant to Spiral Knights.

Sure, but do you like the idea? Do you like board games like Chess? Maybe something like Hive (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hive_(game))?
The guildhall update has made me quite happy hanging out with knights in a more sociable manner and it could be nice to play games with others around in a more sociable situation, instead of it being full-on action all the time.

Oh yeah, I love Chess. I'm just not sure if they want the Guild Hall to have games totally irrelevant to Spiral Knights.
It'd make the game more like Webkinz and less like Spiral Knights, and distract from Spiral Knights itself. =P

I imagine it being themed with spiral knights pieces, and would be no more obscure than the bomberman game we have - alongside the fact you could play it without having to take yourself out of a social situation of the Guild Hall or Haven. Might be better as something to buy as a physical item tho :-D
You know webkinz took over $100 million? Not that I would like SK to be any more childish in its artistic style - the features of webkinz are probably pretty good (a lot of them it seems are already in ;-P).
The amount of time I spend hanging out in SK half idling could be spent playing boardgames with my friends or fellow knights, especially near a trading area.

Wait, we already have LD!
Nosrsly, a wee SK version of checkers would be cool. Chess/cards would be more complicated to code in and take more gaming time; checkers would be simpler to implement and be a quick/simple game to pay when you're bored.
Maybe even a mini fencing game?
